SBODN is honored to have Edgar Schein, widely known as one of Organization Development's major contributors having invented the term 'corporate culture', be our guest speaker in April.
Ed will talk about his forthcoming book, "Humble Inquiry: The Art of Asking Instead of Telling", and how to create positive relationships and effective organizations. In particular, Ed will discuss why leaders will have to learn Humble Inquiry and why this will be so difficult in our culture of 'Do' and 'Tell' in which relationships are systematically devalued.
While a brief bio here for Ed Schein will barely skim all there is to know, we recommend getting to know Ed through his page on Wikipedia, Edgar Schein, and through his profile with MIT Sloan Management, Edgar Schein - Society of Sloan Fellows Professor of Management Emeritus.
