Edgar Miller Legacy, Terra Foundation, and DePaul Art Museum present “Edgar Miller the Artist: The Interwar Cultural Context of Edgar Miller’s Artistry.”
This talk will feature a panel of experts on Chicago’s cultural history to bring to life the story of Edgar Miller, Chicago’s not-so-forgotten genius of art, design, architecture, and philosophy of everyday creativity. Miller was a self-taught artist and master craftsman—a true “Renaissance Man” of the modern era—who came to prominence during the height of the Chicago Artistic Renaissance between the two World Wars.
