About this Event

** DISCLAIMER: THIS IS THE NOVEMBER 10, 2020 CONFERENCE BUT TO KEEP THE LINK OPEN UNTIL MAY 30TH, 2021 WE HAD TO CHANGE THE LISTING. THIS IS # 1 OF 4 EDAP CONFERENCES. THIS IS THE CORRECT PLACE!!

Please join the Los Angeles County Pediatric Liaison Nurses (PdLNs) for another evidence based Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP) course. We're confident this pediatric emergency nursing series will provide you with an accelerated learning experience that emphasizes the proper diagnosis and management of the acutely ill or injured child. You will gain insight into the latest scientific advances in pediatric emergency care through presentations by leading clinicians and researchers.

The virtual EDAP conference will be offered in (4) - 4 hour sessions, approximately 2 - 3 weeks apart.

The (4) - 4 hour sessions will be held on the following dates with "live" Q & A sessions.

  • 11/10/20
  • 12/1/20
  • 12/15/20
  • 1/12/21

Registration for session # 1 on November 10, 2020 is now open with the remaining sessions to follow shortly. Rolling registration for all sessions will remain open until May 15, 2021 to allow for final viewing since these four (4) event pages will close on May 30, 2021. Each of these sessions will be listed individually on Eventbrite and ticketed separately, so you'll need to purchase a ticket for each session you wish to attend.

Once you register, you will receive an invite via e-mail to the Online Event Page. Once the conference opens, click on each lecture title to view the recorded content and remember to complete the accompanying evaluation form to receive CE credit. Once you submit your evaluation form, you'll be directed to the CE form for printing. Licensee is required to retain this document for a period of 4 years after the course concludes.

The lectures will be available online as of the date of the conference and will remain available online to view through May 30, 2021.

To meet EDAP education requirements for a 2 day EDAP course : BOTH watching the video lecture AND submission of an evaluation form for each lecture MUST be completed by May 30, 2021 . Content for a 2-day EDAP course must be completed within 6 months so by completing all 4 sessions you will meet the EDAP education requirement for LA County EMS.

For others interested in CE, please note that this event page will close on May 30, 2021 and the content will no longer be available.

No refunds will be available if you are unable to finish the lectures/evaluations by this date.

A total of 4 CE credits will be available each session or 16 if you complete all 4 sessions of lectures and evaluations.

Each lecture is equivalent to 1 CE.
