ECSU Onboarding: Problem-based Instruction
Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM (EDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
In this session, participants will discover how problem based learning can be used to graduate students ready to compete in the global economy. The facilitator will demonstrate how this student-centered approach occurs over an extended time period. In this process students select, plan, investigate and produce a product, presentation or performance that answers a real-world question or responds to an authentic challenge. Guides for this learning approach generally serve as facilitators, providing scaffolding, guidance and strategic instruction as the process unfolds.
