Ecstatic Dance Temple

Ecstatic Dance is a freeform, unguided conscious non-verbal dance for healing, celebration and communion with self, the divine, and community. No experience necessary, you move as you feel - your body and spirit are the guides. It is non-verbal in that conversations take place outside of the dance container. It is a safe space to explore moving emotions out of the body, in addition to expressing joy, experiencing bliss, and connection with others. An opening and closing circle supports creating a safe space, in addition to these boundaries: it is substance-free, phone-free, conversation-free and photo-free. All ages and abilities are welcome. Each week features a unique DJ who has curated a set with a specific intention or theme.
