About the DJ
Based in the sacred volcanic highlands of Guatemala's Lake Atitlan, Montréal native Mixwell takes inspiration from both the organic sounds of the earth that surround him as well as the diverse musical lineages of the world's ancestral cultures that channel this earth-spirit into song and dance. All of these global sounds are masterfully woven with modern production, deep juicy bass and percussion driven beats, creating a unique and powerful dance journey.
A staple in the global ecstatic dance scene, Mixwell joins us for his Ottawa debut as part of his 2025 world tour, spanning 20 countries!
