Composting: Community-Building Workshop, led by Netiya Founding Executive Director, Devorah Brous

Why grow a compost system at your home?! The sustainability of our planet depends on reducing waste, and growing soil. The sustainability of your garden depends on instituting practices to keep your garden resilient. Together we’ll build a system and find ways to make home-scale composting work for you. Link your home waste to your landscape ecologically and holistically. This build will be a powerful community-wide ritual / experience that results in a compost site. PLEASE BRING: as much newspaper, cardboard, food scraps (no meat/dairy), lint, hair, shredded paper as possible!
