About this event

Experiencing emotional crisis is universal; all people experience it sometime during their life. In 2020 and continuing in 2021, conditions exist to dramatically increase feelings of anxiety, depression, fear and uncertainty. Whether it is COVID precautions, unemployment, financial instability, relationship tension, schooling children from home, social isolation or the collective trauma of living in a world that is no longer predictable, we are all navigating the normal and overwhelming emotions that arise with intense living predicaments.

Emotional CPR is a community health education program that teaches people how to assist a person experiencing emotional distress ... both outwardly and inwardly. Join Lynn McLaughlin and Karen Iverson Riggers as they dive deep into the framework of Emotional CPR and specific concepts that will strengthen your relationships with co-workers, clients, friends, family and, most importantly, yourself.

Register for one ... or register for them all. Sliding scale pricing is available to accommodate all income levels. If you are unable to pay any amount, please let us know.

For those of you who work in a "people-intensive" capacity, we suggest asking your employer to provide self-care stipends or continuing education dollars to attend. Certificates of completion will be provided upon request.
