Description

Ethnobotany is the study of how people and plants have interacted for thousands of years. Spend an hour in the classroom for a presentation on the history of plant use in Florida, followed by (weather permitting), a leisurely walk through Lemon Bay Park to identify and explore how native plants of Sarasota County have been used historically for food, medicine, and other aspects of daily life.
