Eco-Innovation Cheshire and Warrington Launch

The University of Chester and Lancaster University will launch Eco-Innovation Cheshire and Warrington a c. £5 million R&D boost for businesses in Cheshire and Warrington.
Eco-innovation Cheshire and Warrington is an ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) funded project which aims to establish connections between SMEs and universities for the adoption of low carbon technologies. The project will deliver funded support in the form of collaborative R&D interventions, as well as one to one business advice. The University of Chester and Lancaster University are proud delivery partners of this project, and can offer businesses the unique opportunity to access university resources and expertise. If you’re an SME in the Cheshire and Warrington area that needs support in the development of a low carbon technology, we can offer you the opportunity to grow and commercialise those technologies.
The University of Chester will be hosting a launch event for this project to showcase our offer to SMEs. The event will consist of a series of talks and presentations to help SMEs understand the support that is available to them. There will also be an optional tour of the Thornton campus included.
There is accessible on-site parking for all visitors.

All businesses are welcome to attend the event, however please note that there is eligibility criteria to obtain funded support from this project. Your business must be an SME with an address within the Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester, and the Warrington Council areas. Your business must have less than 250 employees and have an annual turnover less than £45million.
