Event description

Description

“Echoes of Fraternity” is a workshop that questions the notion of fraternity by bringing to the forefront its relevance and topicality in our interconnected world.

We intend this workshop to allow participants of all generations to explore various dimensions of brotherhood linkage and sense of connectedness in our digital and better-informed societies.

Using videos, music and dance, the workshop will be conducted in a dynamic and joyful atmosphere. Still, the process proposed is also going to address some sensitive issues. Challenging altogether feelings such as love and hatred, envy and desire, anger and laughter, violence and tenderness, “Echoes of Fraternity” should resonate in political terms with identity, gender, community, nationality and racism issues.

Anyhow, be aware that the work done here promises to be powerful and strongly emotional.

Nota Bene: The introductive part of the workshop is an essential and especially delicate phase that requires to avoid any physical or verbal interactions between the participants: even mumbling or mimes are banned. Therefore, participants are kindly required to arrive on time.
