Event description
Join us for a screen-printing workshop and tour of Echoes and Reverberations, an exhibition curated from FWM's permanent collection.

About this Event

In partnership with the Free Library's One Book, One Philadelphia project, The Fabric Workshop and Museum invites you to join us for an afternoon of discourse and artmaking inspired by There There, a novel by Cheyenne and Arapaho author Tommy Orange. FWM staff will lead participants through Echoes and Reverberations, a collections-based exhibition featuring work by artists Tommy Joseph of the Tlingit Tribe, Marie Watt of the Seneca Nation, James Luna of Puyukitchum, Ipai, and Mexican descent, and Chilkat weaver Anna Brown Ehlers. The tour will be followed by a hands-on screenprinting workshop and book discussion, delving deeper into the ways There There explores themes of heritage and belonging.
