Afterwards, we will board a shuttle and continue throughout the city making a few more stops at some of the area's most talked about eateries, enjoying samples of a few of Chef Harris' favorites. Join Chef Hardette Harris as she shows off some of the best of what we have to eat in the Shreveport-Bossier area. North Louisiana is the home of only the second official meal in the United States and Chef Harris wrote it. Along with help from her State Representative Gene Reynolds, House Concurrent Resolution HCR No. 88 was passed by the Louisiana Legislature in 2015. Shreveport-Bossier is not only known for the items on the official meal but we also have great Seafood, Mexican, Italian, American, Greek, Soul Food and Creole cuisine.

Chef Harris is originally from Minden, Louisiana and was recently named as one of "Louisiana Life" magazine's 'Louisianians of the Year for 2017'
