Event description

Description

Join Seattle filmmaker Mark Titus and local Bristol Bay fishermen (Heidi Dunlap, Stevo and Robbie) for the inaugural Asheville screening of The Breach. This award winning film tells of the unique love affair between wild salmon and mankind. It’s a non profit event and all proceeds are going to help save wild Alaska salmon forever! We will also be raffling off some free wild salmon and boating gear too (whoo hoo!)

Come join us for pizza and movie night! Pizza and beer will be available for purchase. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Movie starts at 7pm. Film will be followed by a short question and answer panel. Come early, grab a seat, order a pizza and join us for a beer before the show starts!

Tickets available here on Eventbrit and at the door!

Heres a short description of this amazing film:

When fishing guide/filmmaker Mark Titus learns why wild salmon populations plummeted in his native Pacific Northwest, he embarks on a journey to discover where the fish have gone and what might bring them back. Along the way, Titus unravels a trail of human hubris, historical amnesia and potential tragedy looming in Alaska – all conspiring to end the most sustainable wild food left on the planet.
