Join us on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the ‘Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach for EAT THINK DRINK as we explore the challenges and opportunities in growing a farm business and operation.

"Scaling Up—Small Farm to Big Farm" featuring keynote speaker Eric Pond, co-owner of pioneering Greenleaf Farm Management in Oregon, will focus on how farming businesses of all sizes can leverage opportunities to scale up operations with innovation, collaboration and technology.

Following the keynote, panelists Fred Lau from Mari's Gardens, Dana Shapiro from Hawai‘i ‘Ulu Cooperative, and Janel Yamamoto from GoFarm Hawai‘i will join the conversation to talk about how farm operations in Hawai‘i are taking advantage of different strategies to grow their businesses, and the challenges of doing so. The program will also feature this year's Mahi‘ai Matchup-GoFarm winner and will be moderated by Kamuela Enos from MA‘O Organic Farms.
