EAT THINK DRINK: From Dirt to Plate presented by Hawaiian Airlines
Tue, November 8, 2016, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM HST
Indulge in delish bites from Chris Kajioka, Senia, Lance Kosaka, Top of Waikiki, Brandon Lee, Piggy Smalls, Robynne Maii, Fete and Keith Pajinag, The Modern Honolulu. Sip cocktails, beer and wine provided by Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits. The evening kicks-off with a thoughtful 360 degree view of agriculture from chefs, farmers and policymakers.
Good things happen when we gather to Eat Think Drink – together! We learn, share, and are inspired by the many thoughtful conversations that happen over the table. From sparking new approaches to old challenges, finding the middle ground on opposing issues, to taking action in your neighborhood, HAF hopes to engage and empower communities with a series of four events on food, agriculture and change. Our featured keynote speaker is Michel Nishan of Wholesome Wave, a chef and leader in the sustainable food movement, as well as a three time James Beard Award winner. Other featured speakers include John Martin, Vice Munchies, Wendy Akiyama, Armstrong Produce, State Senator Donovan Dela Cruz, Judah Lum, Kahuku Farms, and Alex Sou, Aloun Farms.
Hosted and developed by the Hawaiʻi Agricultural Foundation (HAF), Eat+Think+Drink is a quarterly dynamic, provocative series of discussions on important agricultural issues affecting Hawaiʻi.
The ticket price is $55 per person in advance and $65 at the door - if available. Don't be left behind, get your tickets now.
