“Just because you are a character doesn’t mean that you have character.”
Pulp Fiction is a 1994 American neo-noir, black comedy, crime film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. Directed in a highly stylized manner, Pulp Fiction connects the intersecting storylines of Los Angeles mobsters, fringe players, small-time criminals, and a mysterious briefcase. The film’s title refers to the pulp magazines and hardboiled crime novels popular during the mid-20th century, known for their graphic violence and punchy dialogue.Pulp Fiction’s narrative is told out of chronological order, and follows three main interrelated stories.
