Event description

Description

Science from Scientists' Scientist-Teacher Partnership (STP) program is designed to help elementary and middle school teachers feel more comfortable preparing for and leading hands-on science activities by providing guidance, resources, and time to incorporate field-tested lessons into existing curricula. This (free!) half-day workshop highlights a few of our most popular sessions from the longer, more in-depth STP Program. Participants will learn how to use the 5E Model of Teaching, how to teach a Science from Scientists lesson, and will be given time to reflect on how these tools can be integrated into their classroom.

Your spot in the workshop is confirmed once we have received a $25 deposit that upon your arrival will be returned to you. Please make checks payable to Science from Scientists and mail them to: Science from Scientists, 1 Deangelo Drive Suite C, Bedford MA 01730. Please register by Friday, February 28, 2019.

Note: Please bring a lunch, a laptop is optional.
