Event description

Description

East End Table [EET] is a community experience that blends culture and cuisine. EET hosts pop-up dinners in unusual East End settings showcasing some of the area's best creative talent and some of Houston's most notable chefs.

EET - Historic Fire Station #2 invites guests to step back in time for a unforgettable meal in one of the East End's most notable historic buildings. Built in 1910, this two-story brick and morter engine house was occupied by one of Houston's three original volunteer fire fighting companies and construction of Fire Station #2 marked the transition of the city's fire department from a loosely structured volunteer effort housed primarily in converted private residences into a salaried organization that was trained, equipped and maintained by the City of Houston. Guests will enjoy a gourmet meal by featured Chef German Mosquera in the ground floor of the station which once housed the wagons, horses, pumps, hoses and other equipment.

Proceeds from EET go directly to support cultural projects in the East End Cultural District. Join us for a memorable evening with great food and good friends in Houston's newest cultural district and the city's most dynamic community.
