East Coast Greenway Cross Triangle Ride

Join us for our upcoming Cross Triangle bike ride and reception on Friday, October 25th, followed by our Fall State of the Greenway Summit in Raleigh on Saturday, October 26th (read more about the Summit here).
Friday, October 25th – Cross Triangle Bike ride
Join us at noon for a 47-mile bike ride from Durham to Raleigh on the East Coast Greenway. Thanks to great recent greenway progress, over 90% of the ride will be off-road! Two rest stops will be provided, plus a reception at the end.
If you prefer a 18-mile option, join us at Godbold Park in Cary (2nd rest stop) and ride with the group into Raleigh!
Cost: Ride is free for current ECGA members. Non-members can join at a special $20 rate for the event which includes a 1-year membership in the ECGA. Shuttles available before (to the ride start) and after (to Lake Crabtree and the ride start), $10 per rider.

10 AM - shuttle from Raleigh to the ride start in Durham. Meet in Downtown Raleigh at the municipal parking lot on Wilmington St. between Jones and Edenton Streets.
11 AM - Check-in starts at American Tobacco’s Diamond View Park in downtown Durham (318 Blackwell St, Durham, NC 27701).
12 noon – Main ride begins from Diamond View Park.
2:30 PM - 18-mile ride option check-in at Godbold Park in Cary. The ride will join the main group of riders when they come to the rest stop.
5:45 to 8 PM – Reception at Nature Research Center at NC Museum of Natural Sciences (121 W Jones St, Raleigh, NC 27601).
6:45 PM – Shuttle leaves to take riders back to Godbold Park and back to starting location in Durham.
