About the East Boston Farmers Market

Organized and operated by the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center, the East Boston Farmers Market is a convenient, affordable source of fresh fruit and vegetables and locally produced food. We are committed to promoting good health, food access, and supporting local farms and businesses. Our farmers use organic or integrated pest-management methods, and their animals are pasture-raised and fed non-GMO grain. We are pleased to help community members eat healthfully while supporting the local economy and our environment!

We accept the following forms of payments:

  • Credit and debit cards
  • EBT/SNAP and earn HIP dollars!

Did you know? If you receive SNAP benefits, you are automatically enrolled in the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP), which allows you to earn a dollar-for-dollar match on your EBT card when you buy fresh produce from a HIP-authorized vendor like the East Boston Farmers Market! For families of 1-2 people, you can earn up to $40 per month; for 3-5 people, up to $60 per month; for 6 and more people, up to $80 per month. Don't lose these benefits!
