  • Keynote: Trends in e-commerce, Supply Chain, and the Role of Public-Private Partnership // Tom Shaddle, FedEx
  • Briefing: Port of Oakland Development Projects // Jean Banker, Port of Oakland
  • Reports from Talent Team and Infrastructure Team on a logistics career program and official advocacy for policies to support manufacturing and distribution
  • Breakfast and networking with leaders in transportation & logistics.

Getting there:

  • Transit - BART to 12th Street Oakland and walk 1/2 block
  • Driving - Use Merchant Parking Garage at 1316 Franklin Street (between 13 and 14th) for $2.50/hour and bring your parking ticket to the meeting to get validated for 1st hour free
  • We recommend taking transit if you can, as parking in this area will be limited due to the current closure of the Clay Street Garage (on Clay between 14 and 16th).

East Bay Transportation & Logistics Partnership

The East Bay Transportation & Logistics Partnership was launched in 2014 by the Port of Oakland, Dreisbach Enterprises, Give Something Back, and Matson LogisticsIt is a vehicle for East Bay companies involved in transportation & logistics to set priorities that relate to competitiveness and growth, and work at a single table with a range of public-sector partners to take action.

The Partnership is supported by a collaboration of 10 community colleges, 5 workforce investment boards, Doing What Matters for Global Trade & Logistics, EastBay Works, East Bay Economic Development Alliance,  East Bay Leadership Council, Innovation Tri-Valley, East Bay cities and chambers of commerce, K-12 school districts, and other partners. It is seed-funded by a Department of Labor grant, and a California Workforce Board Slingshot grant, along with other leveraged funding.
