Event description

Description

Come to the Inaugural East Bay Pitch Fest! Don't miss the opportunity to support our East Bay entrepreneurs on the way up!

The inaugural East Bay Entrepreneur Pitch Fest will be held on Thursday, March 22! The Pitch Fest will allow entrepreneurs to present their companies to potential interested parties. The Pitch Fest is open to entrepreneurs from Alameda and Contra Costa counties who have not received any Venture Capital funding. We anticipate approximately 15 companies to present.

The Pitch Fest is divided into three modules according to the type and size of capital raise and the type and size of the company. The presentations will be scheduled to allow a party interested in one category of company to choose to come to one part of the event. As an example, the last portion of the event will focus on early stage technology companies.

Pitches will be limited to 5 minutes with up to 5 minutes for Q&A. There will be a networking break before and after each Module to allow further conversation and contacts to be made by presentors and attendees.

Nominations and Process

Entrepreneurs must apply to present at this event. However, companies in the process of raising funding subject to the “General Solicitation” rules of the Securities and Exchange Commission should check with their legal advisor regarding what is appropriate for them to say in a public forum.

Entrepreneurs may apply by filling out a form at https://tinyurl.com/pitchmar22 and forward their presentation to clientservices@acsbdc.org no later than Tuesday, March 13. A Committee comprised of Business Service Providers will select the presenters and contact them with the presentation schedule no later than March 16.
