This interactive workshop event is targeted to members of the Scottish public sector involved in remote sensing, earth observation and geospatial data.
The purpose of the day is to discuss priorities for projects including opportunities to make use of high resolution optial and SAR data available from the Space For Smarter Government programme.
The Satellite Applications Catapult will facilitate the workshop with support from the Scottish Centre of Excellence in Satellite Applications (SoXSA). Sources of funding will also be represented at the meeting, with a view to forming tangible projects as an outcome.
Outline agenda:
- Registration, tea and coffee
- Welcome from SoXSA and the Satellite Applications Catapult, and introductions
- Catapult overview of Geospatial Intelligence team and User-Centred Design team
- Challenge presentations
- Funding overview including Scottish Enterprise Can Do Innovation Challenge Fund and ESA Business Applications
- User-centred design workshop session - identify joint areas of interest.
