About this Event
Join JCWA and the Scottdale Public Library for a family friendly nature walk and pollinator activity this Earth Day.
Walk a part of the Coal and Coke Trail and learn about the importance of pollinators in our watershed. A Master Gardener will be joining us to speak about pollinators and answer your nature related questions.
Participants will also be lead through how to build a bee house during our walk which they can craft and take home.
When: Thursday, April 22nd
6 - 7 pm
Where: Coal and Coke Trail Scottdale Entrance, Mildred Street, Scottdale PA 15683
We will meet at the Coal and Coke Trail parking lot on Mildred Street, walk ~0.7 miles, complete the bee house activity and walk back for a total of ~1.5 miles.
Pre-registration is required to attend this free event. Walk ins will not be accepted.
