Earth Day Park Cleanup
Sat, April 22, 2017, 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM PDT
In celebration of Earth Day, Pacoima Beautiful would like to invite you to join the Pacoima Wash Natural Park Cleanup! Join Pacoima Beautiful to remove trash and debris from the park on Earth Day.
"Formerly a vacant lot, the park provides recreation as well as wildlife habitat via drought-tolerant California native plants. A stormwater basin captures rainfall from a 33-acre drainage area, preventing polluted water from entering Pacoima Wash. Visitors can hike or bike a 0.5-mile trail and picnic under arbors shaded by Valley Oaks and California Wild Grape vines"
Pacoima Beautiful will provide the necessary tools for the clean up, participants need to come with water, sunscreen and a smile!
