About Hidden Opulence Design House
----------------------------------------------
Hidden Opulence Design House, founded by Drea Johnson, is a pop-up alteration, tailoring, and mending studio that’s focused on apparel sustainability and upcycling located inside Artifact Creative Recycle. The business is divided into two factions, serving both existing apparel brands and the general public. Services such as small batch production and in-house production assistance are offered to designers, and batch alterations for garments in boutiques are available for established apparel brands. The general public can book appointments and visit Hidden Opulence’s pop-up location at Artifact to consult in person and build ideas to re-imagine, repair or alter garments or fabric wares from their own homes. While basic tailoring, mending, and altering can be completed, projects based around refurbishing, repairing and re-configuring are greatly appreciated.

A huge thank you to Artifact: Creative Recycle, who generously donated their space for this meet up!
----------------------------------------------
Artifact: Creative Recycle is an eclectic clothing and home design store in SE Portland. We consign, buy, sell, and trade both modern and vintage wares, focusing heavily on beautiful textiles, artisan jewelry, and style that is meant to last. By participating in the second-hand model, we are consciously saying no to fast fashion and helping keep waste out of the landfill. Feeling at one with your style should feel at one with the earth too.
