Event description

Description

Get your hands dirty and do something good for nature this Earth Month!

Help plant 1,000 trees along the Sammamish River, alongside One Tree Planted, Whale Scout, Project SeaWolf and Adopt a Stream Foundation in this day of giving back to our environment. Being an important river for salmon, these trees will provide shade to cool and clean waters for Chinook, Coho, and Sockeye salmon during their migration to and from the ocean.

What to bring

  • Closed toe shoes (preferably boots)
  • Long pants
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Sun protection

Note: Children under 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult/guardian. The guardian will need to sign a waiver.
