Event description

Description

Get your hands dirty and do something good for nature this Earth Month!

Join One Tree Planted and San Diego River Park Foundation for a beautiful day outdoors, volunteering with like-minded folks to care for our open spaces. Scenery and wildlife abound with views of Santa Ysabel, Cuyamaca Peak and the San Diego River Gorge.

Volunteers will help to enhance and improve hiking opportunities at Eagle Peak Ranch Preseve through a fun and rewarding trail maintenance project. Tasks will include trail surveys, tamping, and digging.

This project takes place about 1.5 hours by car from central San Diego. The preserve is located on Eagle Peak Road 3 miles before the intersection of Pine Hills Road and Eagle Peak Road. Special instructions on access and parking at the preserve will be provided upon RSVP.

What to bring

  • Long Pants and long sleeves *(poison oak might be present - make sure to be well covered)
  • Closed toe shoes (tennis shoes or hiking boots)
  • Reusable water bottle (Bring at least 32 oz. of water!)
  • Light snacks
  • Sun protection

If you are reserving more than 4 tickets, please contact Stephanie directly at stephanie@onetreeplanted.org.
