Earth day marks the anniversary which is informally recognized as the birth of the modern-day environmental movement. According to earthday.org, the inception of the event in 1970 “capitalized on the emerging consciousness, channeling the energy of the anti-war protest movement and putting environmental concerns front and center.”

In the past Empire Clean Cities has partnered with numerous organizations to spend the day spreading awareness for our planet all over NYC and the lower Hudson Valley region. This year for Earth Day we are presenting a showcase of electric and hybrid electric vehicles to the public to spread the word about these environmentally friendly vehicles that run on clean energy. Come visit the beautiful seaport waterfront views and see the newest clean energy technologies on the market.
