Public Transport – Highly Recommended*

Several buses servicing Curtin University make stops along Kent Street and Hayman Road, from these bus stops the walk to the Australian Resources Research Centre ranges from 10 to 20 minutes. We recommend using the Transperth Journey Planner to assist you with planning your travels and that you leave plenty of time, in case of delays.

Dropped Off

You can be dropped off in front of the Australian Resources Research Centre on Dick Perry Ave, there is an area which cars can pull into. From there you need to take the stairs up into the building.

Parking

*There are no guarantees that you will be able to secure parking on the day, in fact it is requested that you do not drive to the revision seminar. If you must drive there is a limited amount of parking at the front of the building. If this is full you are not to park across Dick Perry Road, this carpark is for Department of Parks and Wildlife staff only. The nearest free public parking is along De Laeter Way which can be accessed off Turner Ave for the map click here.

Food and Drink

The easiest option for the day is to bring your own food and drink which can be consumed in the communal lunch area or grassed areas around the building. Otherwise the nearest food outlets are down Kent Street at Waterford Plaza, a ten minute drive away. Please note that 30 minutes has been allocated for a morning tea break and 40 minutes for lunch.

Equipment

It will be expected that you will have all of the equipment required for an EES exam with you on the day – pens, pencils, eraser, sharpener, protractor, ruler and calculator.

Behaviour

We reserve the right to ask any student behaving inappropriately to leave to ensure the best environment possible for all students.

Wifi

Wifi will not be available to visitors to the building at these sessions.
