This event is co-hosted by Vectors Angel, a group of social-impact minded angel investors, Plug and Play Tech Center, an early stage investor and corporate innovation platform, and Energy Innovation Network, a professional development group dedicated to cleantech through event series, conferences and special projects.

Panelists:

Cassie Bowe, Vice President at Energy Impact Partners (EIP)

Cassie is a Vice President at Energy Impact Partners where she works on investments across sectors but with a focus on transportation and mobility. EIP is a $1B venture fund investing in energy and adjacent industries that is backed by 14 global utilities and energy companies. Prior to joining EIP, she worked for 5 years at SunPower, one of the largest global solar companies, in policy and strategy. She has also gained operating experience at energy storage, micro-grid and energy asset management startups in business development and finance roles. Cassie holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a BA in Economics from Harvard University, and was selected for Forbes 30 Under 30 in Energy (2018).

Matt Logan, Partnerships Manager at Elemental Excelerator

Matt cultivates relationships with corporate partners for Elemental Excelerator’s startups through project deployments, investments, and acquisitions. Matt also helps the pipeline team attract and select potential startups. Prior to Elemental, Matt worked in finance Advanced Microgrid Solutions (AMS) where he helped AMS raise $200M in project finance and $34M in corporate equity. Before AMS, Matt worked in corporate venture capital for Cummins as well as finance for Sunrun.

Christina O'Conor, Associate at Ecosystem Integrity Fund (EIF)

Christina O’Conor is an Associate at the Ecosystem Integrity Fund. Her responsibilities include sector research, deal sourcing, investment due diligence, and portfolio company development. Most recently, she served as a strategic advisor on sustainable investment at New Mountain Capital, a private equity firm investing in defensive growth sectors. Previously, as Managing Director, Christina led an investment research team focused on sustainable investment and long-term thematic research at Wellington Management Company. Christina received a BS in Economics from Trinity College and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Hao Zhang, Founder and Managing Partner at Goldwind Innovation Capital

Hao Zhang joined Goldwind in 2014 as a major contributor in developing global investment business, later becoming in charge of investment business in EU and NA. Hao Zhang serves on the boards of Skycatch, K2data, etc. and leads investments in companies especially in renewable energy solution. Hao Zhang is also the investor director at Goldwind.
