Description

Since tooth decay is the most common chronic disease of childhood, the
purpose of this training is to provide information to assist caregivers and
those who influence caregivers to understand the dental needs of young
children, implement healthy habits in the childcare environment, and encourage

disease.

  • Describe the state of early childhood oral health.
  • List the evidence-based tools for preventing early childhood tooth decay and how to use them.
  • Explain the recommendations for the use of pacifiers and cups.
