Description

Facilitated by

Amy Hyfield, the O.P. and W.E. Edwards Foundation

Kristin Lundgren, United Way of Yellowstone County

Ben Horowitz, Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis

The Funders for Montana’s Children, the United Way of Yellowstone County, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, including its Helena Branch office, share the common goals of providing information about early childhood data and resources in Montana in order to foster partnerships to address key issues facing young children and their families. In February, staff from the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis will be to learn about the conditions of the child care market in the Billings region.

We invite you to a discussion about the opportunities for and barriers to success for Montana’s families and child care providers, linkages between early childhood and economic development, and any cross sector partnerships that offer promising opportunities for innovation.

Your comments and questions will assist Funders for Montana’s Children and the Minneapolis Fed in the process of understanding the market and other conditions related to early childhood education in Billings and Montana from the perspective of providers and advocates.
