AUDIO PRODUCTION CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:


BEAT PRODUCTION

DATE: JULY 7TH / 3PM PST

This class will teach you the fundamentals of music production, which includes sound design, basic song composition, the recording process and audio editing and mixing tips that will help you get on the fast track to producing professional music.


INTRODUCTION TO AUDIO ENGINEERING

DATE: JULY 14TH / 3PM PST

This class will focus on the ins and outs of audio engineering on a beginner level, including the specific duties of an audio engineer, the different types of work within the field, how to choose what gear is right for you, details on working with audio files, troubleshooting tips, and recording tips for professional studio sessions.


STARTING A PODCAST

DATE: JULY 21ST / 3PM PST

This class will teach you how to create successful audio content that fits within the traditional radio show / podcasting guidelines. Included in the lessons will be how to sift through data for a story, how to record and engineer audio and ways to turn audio content into web content, along with much more.


THE ART OF DJING

DATE: JULY 28TH / 3PM PST

This class will cover all aspects of DJing, from the basics of setting up, which cables to use, and how to troubleshoot your gear, to basic mixing, beat matching, and more advanced techniques like telegraphing and turntablist practices.
