Event description

Description

Matt Marshall, a facilitator with E-plan, is providing free E-plan training for First Responders who want to use Tier II data. This training is a 3 day, 3 hour event, spanning 3 counties in the north, middle, and southern portions of the state of Alabama.

E-plan is a web-based program that allows for real-time data retrieval pertaining to the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act, and can be accessed through erplan.net. Beginning in reporting year 2016, all facilities now have the option of filing either through the traditional Tier2Submit software or filing directly though E-plan. E-plan can provide up-to-date real time inventories of all Tier II facilities no matter which format the data were submitted.

E-plan allows fast and convenient access to First Responders to access Tier II data when they need it most. E-plan makes the data malleable so that First Responders can use that data in various formats for multiple programs. There is even a free App available for portable emergency response on the go!

Classes are limited to 30 participants. This training will provide detailed hands-on instruction and familiarize attendees with the website, its functionality, and tools.

Every participant must bring a laptop that has Wi-Fi capabilities.
