About this event
The event will be held online with the participation of one EIT Food partner and one RFS which will explain their mission, their role in EIT Food, and their areas of interest. Do you know this creative, visual format? 20 slides and 8 minutes for the presentation just 480 seconds to tell their story, with visuals guiding the way.
This special edition will be focused on Sustainable Agriculture, and we will have the collaboration of Francis Wanjohi member of the Agrifood Futures Community.

NEIKER-Tecnalia, the Basque Institute for Agricultural Research and Development, is a non-profit public company attached to the Department of Economic Development and Competitiveness of the Basque Government. NEIKER-Tecnalia is committed to the following R+D+i objectives:
To improve the productivity and competitiveness of agricultural production systems; To develop and apply new management technologies on farms; Satisfy the quality and safety requirements of the agro-food processing industry, its products, and consumers.
Deep Planet aims to catalog, track and forecast the world's agricultural production. Our predictive crop analytic platform combines machine learning, satellite imagery, and agricultural data to help supply chain companies and farmers to make better decisions. We predict soil moisture, soil nitrogen, yield, crop/tree detection, organic/non-organic crop detection, deforestation, regeneration at 90+% accuracy. Supported by the University of Oxford and European Space Agency.
