DYDC presents...The Talented 2.0: a Nick Schonberger Birthday Wish List
We are taking strides into other realms with our events, this time showcasing another persons selection of live artistry. Nick Schonberger is a good friend of King Carter, and an even better acquaintance to the music, design, and fashion sub cultures of America, being a featured editor for Selectism and Highsnobiety, an active member of Words Beats Life, and many other endeavors. Nick being an appreciator of our "The Talented" concept, requested we produce an event to celebrate his up-coming born date.
As always, we stress presentation and quality when we go about crafting these events, and we are happy to have local artists, the talented Kokayi, NY based-but Ohio bred artist Stalley (Creative Control), and to top things off we have the illest hip-hop trio, Diamond District along side the amazing in-house band, The eLs to close out the nights festivities. Soundtrack throughout the night provided by DJ CamJus and DJ EYE AM! Hosted by Lamine of DYDC. Definitely a night to remember!

When & Where
Why DYDC? Dying Young is symbolic of us living in the now! Here we fervently attack our goals, and live and enjoy them now, rather than wait for later. We seek to determine our own destiny...meaning that not only are we chasing our dreams now, but we plan to continue until our death, so in essence we plan to “Die Young!” We noticed a swell of similar behavior and actions from those in our local community so we call ourselves, DYDC, at the moment there is such a movement among many of today’s youth which we have captured via DYlifestyle.com
DYlifestyle.com’s focus is on a diversity of news, true immersion within local and international “DY” culture. Our aim is not just a simple observation, or record of events and happenings, we are active participants in such activities and efforts.
As a cooperative, DYDC has many functions, mainly our website that details the current “creative resurgence” in DC and abroad. The site chronicles the positive happenings, and artistic efforts of fellow “DYers”. By way of the site we interview, style, curate events, consult artists, and translate “Dying Young” to the world.
All of the product and content displayed is produced in-house. From the photography, to videos, to styling, to event production; each of these are also offered as professional services.
