Deaf Women United (DWU) with Deaf Women Chicago, as the affiliate host, is planning the Biennial National DWU Conference, "Soar with the Wind" on Wednesday, July 26 through Sunday, July 30, 2023 in Chicago, Illinois.

The conference includes attendees from all walks of life: women of inspiration and interpersonal connections. The purpose of this conference is to offer personal and professional development. We are thrilled to host this amazing event and look forward to seeing you all here!

Registration: $375 until May 30, 2023.

Registration includes:

• Opening ceremony on a cruise

• Keynote speeches

• Plenary presentations and workshops 

• DWU 2023-2025 membership 

• DWU community meeting

• Deaf Women Herstory and Art Extravaganza

• Breakfast (for hotel overnight guests only) and lunch meals 

• Closing Ceremony Gala dinner on Saturday night (Dress code encouraged)

The hotel reservation link will be sent with email confirmation after the conference registration.

Hotel room cost:

$238 per night for up to 2 people.

$248 per night for up to 3 people.

$258 per night for 4 to 6 people.

What's the refund policy?

Non-refundable.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you won't have to bring your printed ticket. 

Can I update my registration information?

Yes, please contact Kim Mokris at dwuchireg@gmail.com if you need to update your registration information. 

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

If you need to transfer your ticket to someone else, please contact Kim Mokris at dwuchireg@gmail.com to inform her of the name transfer.  The ticket is non-refundable. If you want your money back, you will need to make arrangements with the person, to who you want to transfer your ticket, to purchase your ticket.
