Domestic Violence Wears Many Tags & UnIDMV & An Earthly Embrace hosts its Seventh Annual Passion Over Poverty Teen & Young Adult Talent Showcase

What: 7th annual Passion Over Poverty Teen & Young Adult Talent Showcase, which uses talent as a way to help sober anger, frustration, low self-esteem in our teens & young adults. Teens & Young Adults that find their passion after being victims of childhood domestic violence, family violence, and or teen dating violence are likely to succeed, because they find their positive outlet in their passion. Expressive arts have long been used with children to promote psychological health and social support. They offer children “a way to express their feelings, perceptions, thoughts, and memories in ways that words cannot” (Malchiodi, 2005).
