About the Event:
The first-ever annual Dupont Green Week runs from 17-20 May and brings together people who live, work and play in the Dupont Area over the very hot topic of sustainability. The events feature a number of panels, a social event and a tabled event in Dupont Circle.
Each panel highlights one of 5 perspectives (National/Global, Real Estate, Local, Resident/Individual, Company/Business).
Each event involves participation to talk about the innovation eco-system for the most relevant topics of sustainability.
Dupont Green Week has a series of objectives, it seeks to increase the following by 20% in the Dupont Circle Neighborhood:
1) Energy Efficiency
2) Commitment of organizations to participation in carbon offset projects
3) Renewable Energy
4) Number of restaurants recycling over 90% of their waste.
