Vocalist CONNIE EVINGSON is known for exploring a wide variety of musical styles. Her recorded catalog of acclaimed CD's ranging from jazz and Broadway standards to the music of Peggy Lee, Dave Frishberg, the Beatles, bossa nova, gypsy jazz and more reflects an adventurous spirit that knows no boundaries. She has been a featured guest artist with Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion, Jazz at Lincoln Center with Wynton Marsalis, the Minnesota Orchestra conducted by Doc Severinsen, Vocalessence, the JazzMN Orchestra and other esteemed organizations. She is a longtime member of the popular vocal jazz group Moore By Four, and is a two-time recipient of both the McKnight Fellowship for Performing Musicians and the Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative Grant.
