Description

The colorful Duarte Route 66 Parade, co-sponsored by the City of Duarte, the Duarte Community Coordinating Council, Human Good, and the Route 66 Parade Committee, will once again take place on September 23, 2017.

Celebrating the theme “Then & Now,” the parade will feature antique and classic cars, marching band, floats, and much more. Some 1,400 participants in all will take part in the event, including local schools, church and community groups, and approximately 11 high school bands will compete for trophies. Past participants have included Duarte High School, Don Lugo High School, Chino High School, San Dimas High School, South El Monte High School, and Rim of the World High School, Lake Arrowhead, Diamond Ranch High School, Pomona, Workman High School, and City of Industry.
