A Panel Discussion: Three Entrepreneurs, Countless impressions. Featuring Inspiring Perspectives on Mixing Creativity, Commerce, and Craft.

For our November Speaker Series, The Dallas Society of Visual Communications is honored to host Ink, Inc. — a speaker panel of creative entrpreneurs with unique connections to ink, featuring Heather Lynn of Spirit of Salt, Danielle Aldrich of Easyhand Goods, and Vynsie Law of We Are 1976.

OVERVIEW
Join us Wednesday, November 12 at East Texas A&M Universty (ETAMU) as we welcome three inspiring women founders to share their unique perspectives on mixing creativity, commerce, and craft in the world of ink and design. Come early and browse a selection of vendor tables in the lobby during the Social Hour.

INK DEMO
Want more ink? Take part in a letterpress demo with Inky Lips Letterpress founder and ETAMU professor Casey McGarr (also DSVC Past President 2000-2001!). Learn how letterpress works from a master and ink your own 12.5" x 19" print to keep. Add-on available when registering and limited to 12 attendees.

SCHOOL SHOWCASE
We're celebrating East Texas A&M University as November's School Showcase and will be featuring ETAMU projects at the Speaker Series. We welcome ETAMU students, faculty, and alumni to join and represent!

HEATHER LYNN of Spirit of Salt
Tatoo artist, painter, and illustrator, known for her uniquely folky, mystical style shaped by years of artistic exploration across many mediums, such as fiber arts, textile painting, and product design. Before tattooing, Heather spent 15 years as an award-winning graphic designer, and her work continues to be grounded in the principles of solid, clean design.

DANIELLE ALDRICH of Easyhand Goods
Owner and designer behind Easyhand Goods (previously Onderkast Studio), a hands-on stationery brand focused on creating colorful, lighthearted cards and goods made with care in her studio. With press ink on her hands and a cat in her lap, Danielle's products have found their way into over 1,000 retail boutiques nationwide.

VYNSIE LAW of We Are 1976
Co-founder and owner of We Are 1976, one of Dallas' most revered independent creative storefronts, showcasing and advocating the local art and design community. Vynsie also serves as Director of Art and Design at the Dallas Museum of Art.
