Thanks to our premier sponsor, Isringhausen Imports, Fabulous Food Sponsor HyVee, and Libations Sponsor Chick Fritz Distributing: it's Return of the Bacon! There won't be a Revenge of the Bacon trilogy, so make sure you come out for this year's final Bacon Throwdown where the Masters go at it for bacon bragging rights and the traveling skillet. Will Julia from Hy-Vee MacArthur Boulevard retain her title? How many variations on bacon can one person consume?
Admission is $5 for adults and free for children 12 and under. Food and beverage tickets will be sold for $1 each at the gate. However, you can save a little cash if you plan ahead and order early bird packages, which include admission and food tickets. Early bird packages are available online only through noon on July 18.
On the music side of the Festival (Included in Admission Pricing), this year we're proud to be joined by NPR Illinois 91.9 UIS' Bedrock 66 Live, featuring Nikki Lane, a modern Loretta Lynn singing her brand of outlaw country and Lee Bains III & The Glory Fires, who reputable sources claim have made their jaws drop on more than one occasion.
