Description

A Friendraiser for DSDT's Dance Film
MY LIFE WAS THE SIZE OF MY LIFE

Following the success of MY LIFE WAS THE SIZE OF MY LIFE, a solo created with Heather Arnett, performed during the 8x8x8festival in November 2016, choreographer Slater and videographer Loren Robertson were inspired to collaborate on a dance film.

Based on the solo inspired by Jane Hirshfield's poem of the same name, and used with Ms. Hirshfield's permission, Slater, Robertson, and Arnett will move the piece into the world of dream and possibility that film allows.

My life is the size of YOUR life…

You, as a past supporter and donor to DSDT, have affected us so much, we are inviting you to help us launch and celebrate our 30th anniversary (which culminates in 2019). Please join us for a grand experiment! We are turning a powerful dance into a beautiful film.
