Description
Join us on Thanksgiving morning in Broad Ripple for the 15th annual Wheeler Mission Drumstick Dash presented by Huntington Bank! Choose from our 4.6 mile course, sponsored by GEICO®, or 2.75 mile course and run or walk with your family and friends while supporting a great cause! 100% of the proceeds provide meals and care for homeless men, women, and children in our community. And all kids ages 12 and under are invited to participate in our Li'l Gobbler's Run, sponsored by MHS. This fun run starts at 10:30 a.m. with our turkey mascot, Dash, in the Finish Line Food Court Fun Zone.

Run for a Penny!
Step 1: Register for the race!
Step 2: At the end of the registration process, set up your personal fundraising page as directed
Step 3: Raise a minimum of $250 to help the homeless that come to Wheeler Mission seeking shelter and care
Step 4: When you’ve raised the minimum, let us know by emailing drumstickdash@wmm.org with a link to your fundraising page
Step 5: All but a penny of your individual registration will be refunded! (one individual registration refunded per fundraising page)
All qualifying participants also receive:
- Pre- and post-race lounge with private restrooms, heat, snacks, drinks, and free injury screenings at Team Rehabilitation’s Broad Ripple location (located in the Food Court Party Area)
- Top 10 fundraisers achieve VIP status, gaining access for two to the VIP/Celebrity tent located near the Start Line
- Top fundraiser receives the famous traveling turkey trophy to display for a year
BONUS! Act quickly! Drumstick Dash sponsor, Team Rehabilitation Physical Therapy, will donate $100 to the first 30 individuals to reach $150 in fundraising!

Wheeler Mission Ministries helps the homeless in Indiana. Wheeler is a non-denominational, Christian, social services organization, which provides critically needed goods and services to the homeless, poor, and needy of central and southern Indiana without regard to race, color, creed, national origin or religion.
Wheeler is not a church, but does cooperate with many different churches that are concerned about poverty and homelessness in the inner city.
Founded in 1893, Wheeler is the oldest continuously operating ministry of its kind in the state of Indiana.
With nine locations, dozens of ministries, a budget of over $10 million, and about 140 employees, Wheeler is also the largest and most diverse ministry of its kind in the state.
