Drop-in riding lessons are designed for children who are at least 7 years old and can ride a horse without assistance. Lessons are taught at the rider's skill level and are designed for persons who would like to ride but cannot commit to a weekly lesson or as an extra lesson for our riders who are looking for a second lesson.
Lessons include grooming the horse as well as riding.
A signed Rider Release form is required for the lesson.
More information on riding lessons can be found at http://www.prettyponypastures.org/English.html.
Is there an age limit or physical limit to ride?
Riders must be at least 7 years old and weigh less than 175 pounds..
What should the rider and parent wear?
Riders need to wear long pants. Both the rider and parent need to wear either tennis shoes or boots with a small heel. Riding helmets are provided by Pretty Pony Pastures, however riders may bring their own equestrian helmet. Bike, roller blade, and other sport helmets are not permitted.

We request registration and payment prior to the lesson. Persons who show up at ride time without registering may not be able to ride as we only permit four horses in a class.
