Recently, there has been an immense surge of interest in using unmanned aerial vehicles, also known as drones, for civil applications. New drone services such as commercial package delivery, aerial surveillance, emergency supply delivery, videography, and search and rescue are coming to the fore in the US and worldwide. New control, learning, and safety technologies are being developed that are helping to fuel these advances.
At the same time, management of drone and drone infrastructure is taking shape. This conference will explore drone technologies, services, and policies, through a series of invited talks from leaders in industry, government, and academia. In addition, a panel discussion will focus on the interplay of drones in society.
