About this Event

The growth in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investing is unquestioned. Clients are actively asking their financial advisors to consider and incorporate ESG investing into their retirement strategy, making it one of the most important financial trend in years. And one that allows investors to lead with their values without sacrificing performance.

We are pleased to host a panel discussion with three industry leaders who will discuss this important trend, and how it's changing their business, and their client's portfolios.

Jason Howell, CFP®, is President of Jason Howell Company, a family wealth management firm that uses Sustainable, Responsible & Impact Investing (SRI) to develop parents into patriarchs and matriarchs of their communities and families. Jason is a Chartered SRI Counselor™ professional and is the author of JOY of Financial Planning: 7 Strategies for Transforming your Finances and Reclaiming your American Dream. Jason is an adjunct instructor for George Mason University’s School of Business Financial Planning and Wealth Management (FPWM) concentration; and Council Chair for the FPWM Advisory Board.

Marcio Silveira, CFP®, CFA®, is a Financial Advisor at Toler Financial Group. His mission is to bring sustainable investment solutions to individuals and families. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, CNBC, and many other media venues. Prior to joining Toler Financial Group, Marcio was the founder of Pavlov Financial Planning, the first firm in the Washington, DC Area to serve only Generation X and Y clients. Marcio can work with clients in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Brad Swanson (brad@dwmarkets.com) manages private equity investments in global emerging markets as a partner at a socially responsible fund management firm, Developing World Markets. He has also held other senior positions in international finance, working in more than 60 countries in total. Before entering finance, he served in several countries in Africa as a Foreign Service Officer, and prior to that was a reporter.
